Free Staging Services
I provide free custom staging services to my clients to help them sell their homes. Throughout my career in real estate, I have always helped clients get their asking price - 100% of the time. My skills in home preparation and staging are what make up the difference between a home’s market value and what the seller thinks their home is worth. By completing a thorough room by room home evaluation and face lift, I have won out often over many other agents because I am able to make up the gap between market value and what the seller originally wanted.
Staging includes everything from bringing in the right furniture to complement your home to painting, lawn work, driveway improvements and more. I do whatever is needed to showcase your property in the best light, ensuring it sells quickly. I can't help it - it's in my DNA to do whatever it takes, no matter how hard the work, and I love what I do. Even more, I don't think you should have to pay extra to receive this service - it's part of the value I bring and I encourage you to avoid paying the tens of thousands of dollars’ others charge for comparable services (often up to $60k).
Case study: Recently, Kevin listed a home in North Arlington. The previous realtor had the property listed for seven months with another realtor and was unsuccessful at selling the property. After the listing expired, Kevin was asked to list the property and upon listing it, performed a room by room assessment and with the seller’s cooperation orchestrated a complete facelift of the home using the buyer’s feedback from the previous seven months on the market. Among the feedback were comments that the property appeared dated, “builder-grade”, and the property lacked storage, etc. To address the feedback that the property was dated, surprising since it was built in 2010, Kevin removed pieces of furniture like the china cabinet in the dining room, and other furniture which he felt current buyers might perceive as dated. Additionally, Kevin addressed the interior color schemes as you enter the property which had multiple colors that previous stagers had advised the seller to use. He changed the paint to one cohesive color which made the space appear larger and brighter. Also, removing window screens and window treatments throughout the home and had the windows cleaned which brightened the interior. The most dramatic change was painting the exterior “Dove White”, but the ingenious move was painting the siding and trim the same color which gave the home enormous “curb appeal”. In addition to many other changes that were performed, the result was that the property sold in 3 weeks, one of those weeks being Thanksgiving week, listed at a higher price. That right, listed at a higher price!
